As a qualified, BACP registered, Humanistic Counsellor specialising in Transactional Analysis, I recognise the uniqueness of every individual and believe that whilst our experiences shape us, we all have the potential to overcome difficulties through personal growth and healing. My person-centred approach means that I strive to build a collaborative and trusting relationship, allowing you to talk freely and focus on what is important to you. I work with adults over 18 years and offer both short-term and open ended therapy.
I have worked with a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, low self-worth, confidence, bereavement, self-harm and sexuality. I also have a particular interest in relationship conflict (personal or in the workplace), health concerns, betrayals/divorce and men’s mental health.
To enable you to find a counsellor that you feel comfortable with, I offer a no-obligation, free, initial session of up to 45 minutes, by phone or online, where you can tell me more about what is troubling you, ask questions and decide if my style of working is right for you. This is also an assessment process to see if I am able to help you with your concerns.
On-going counselling sessions last for 50 minutes and cost from £60 (9am – 5pm) and £65 (5pm – 8pm) per session for individuals. You do not have to commit to having therapy for a specific period of time, your therapy will be bespoke to you and your needs.
I currently have availability for counselling in person, online or over the telephone.
I have a warm, inviting counselling room which is easily accessible by car or public transport. My comfortable room is located in Devonshire House, Aviary Court, Basingstoke RG24 8PE. Free parking is available for your convenience.
